The North Carolina Army National Guard conducted a preparatory Air Assault Course event at Camp Butner Oct. 2, 2011. The event tested approximately 28 Soldiers' physical and mental ability to accomplish a variety of tasks, getting them ready to attend the U.S. Army Air Assault Course at the end of the month.
