    24th Marine Expeditionary Unit

    B-roll of Marines and Sailors aboard the USS Iwo Jima (LHD-7) "man the rails" as the ship pulls into the Hudson Bay, May 25. Various units from II Marine Expeditionary Force have organized under the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit to form the Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force – New York. The Marines are embarking on the Navy’s Amphibious Assault Ships, the USS Iwo Jima and USS New York (LPD-21) to take part in Fleet Week, May 25 – Jun 1. The Marines will showcase the capabilities of the MAGTF, and also honor those who have served by participating in various events throughout Memorial Day weekend. Produced by Marine Cpl. Nicholas J.
