Marines of Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron (HMM) 364 and Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 466, 3d Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), participate in an annual training evolution aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., May 12, 2011. The Marines coordinate with the California Fire Department of Forestry to fill and drop 900 liter buckets of water over simulated wildfires. This exercise is performed annually as part of an agreement between the Marine Corps, Navy, and California Fire Department of Forestry Interagency Military Helicopter Firefighting program which is implemented through the Defense Support to Civilian Authorities process.
