Vibrant Response 11.1 is a U.S. Army North, (U.S. Northern Command’s Joint Force Land Component Command) field training exercise that simulates a terrorist attack in the United States. This exercise takes place on Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center and Muscatatuck Urban Training Complex March 11 through the 20th. The training includes urban and aerial search and rescue missions, simulated decontamination operations, airlift and medical training. Scenes include footage of Marines from the Chemical Biological Incident Response Force, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force evacuating simulated casualties from a collapsed building and conducting decontamination operations on survivors.
