U.S. Airmen assigned to Kadena Air Base host a POW/MIA recognition ceremony on Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan, Sept. 17, 2026. Following the ceremony, volunteers started the Kadena Air Force Base annual POW/MIA Day 24-hour run/walk at Volunteers are charged with keeping the flag in constant motion for 24 hours by walking or running.
