Kadena Language Institute students participate in a four-week internship program at Kadena Air Base, Japan, Aug. 10 to Sept. 3, 2026. During the internship, students had the opportunity to practice their English in professional environments around base. The training provided students with a professional foundation on how to work as a team, collaborate in a bilateral environment, and practice customer service skills. This year marks the 28th year of cultural collaboration through the internship program between a local language institute and the military and civilian personnel at Kadena.
