U.S. and Indian Army medical personnel conduct bilateral casualty care and evacuation training during Yudh Abhyas 2026 at Mahajan Field Firing Range, Rajasthan, India, Sept. 14, 2026. During the primary scenario, medical personnel treated a simulated blast casualty with a traumatic lower-extremity amputation before coordinating ground medical evacuation using an Indian Army ambulance system. Personnel also rehearsed treatment of a simulated heat casualty and established a field treatment area. The training strengthened medical interoperability by allowing both armies to rehearse casualty treatment, patient transfer and evacuation procedures in a combined environment.
