U.S. Marines with Headquarters Company, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, and Peruvian Marines with 1st and 2nd Battalón de Infantería conduct a live-fire pistol range while participating in UNITAS 2026, a U.S. Naval Forces Southern/ U.S. Fourth Fleet- sponsored training exercise at Base Naval de Infantería de Marina, Peru, Sept. 11-12, 2026. Hosted this year by Peru, this exercise trains forces to conduct joint maritime operations and focuses on strengthening partnerships, increasing interoperability and capability between participating naval and marine forces.
