Chilean Soldiers from the 1st Armored Brigade, 27th Armored Infantry Battalion "Bulnes" participate in Southern Vanguard 26 in September, 2026, in Sauce Peru. The soldiers integrate and train alongside U.S., Peruvian, and Argentinian partners learning jungle warfare tactics at the Peruvian Army Jungle School (Ejército del Perú Escuela De Selva).
SV26 brings together approximately 400 warfighters to execute a field training exercise and command post exercise in a demanding austere jungle environment.
