Pennsylvania Air National Guard Airmen from the 111th Attack Wing, reflect on the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Current and former PAANG members, along with an Airman who was serving on active duty at the time, share their firsthand experiences before, during and after the attacks. Their stories highlight how 9/11 changed the force and the missions Airmen carried forward in its aftermath. Their accounts preserve the experiences of those who witnessed a defining moment in military history and serve as a reminder of the commitment and sacrifice of those who answered the call.
