What does a visit from the Region Commander look like?
Last week, Commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Rear Adm. Stephen Barnett, Mrs. Naeema Barnett, Command Master Chief Pat Tummins, and members of the region staff spent the day touring Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg.
The visit provided an opportunity to see firsthand the people, programs, and services that make up installation staff, support our military community, and contribute to mission readiness every day. From family programs and recreation facilities to emergency services and installation operations, the tour highlighted the many ways NSA Mechanicsburg delivers in support of Sailors, families, tenants, and the Fleet.
Thank you to Rear Adm. and Mrs. Barnett, Command Master Chief Tummins, and the region staff for spending the day with us in Pennsylvania, and for taking the time to learn more about our installation and the dedicated professionals who support the Navy mission every day.
