Members of the 95th Medical Detachment-Blood Support, 168th Multifunctional Medical Battalion, 65th Medical Brigade, conduct deglycerolization stress testing on Camp Humphreys, South Korea, Aug. 25, 2026. The frozen blood serves as contingency stock and are the only blood products available on the peninsula to immediately support combat armed forces, maintaining this stock significantly enhances operational readiness. This training assessed the capabilities of military medical personnel on how much of contingency stock blood packs could be processed from storage to ready to use at any given time.
