U.S. Army’s 2nd Battalion, 37th Armored Regiment; the British Army’s B Squadron, Light Dragoons; the Croatian 17th contingent’s and Romania’s 348th Air Defense Artillery Battalion leadership; and all of the NATO Forward Land Forces (FLF) Battle Group-Poland attended Harvest Day (Dożynki) in Wierzbiny, Poland, on Sept. 6, 2026. Following the procession of the wreaths accompanied by the orchestra was a harvest festival ritual performed by the Małe Orzyszanka group, a speech by the hosts, sharing of harvest bread, awarding of the Honorary Badges "For Merit to Agriculture and Rural Development," and a presentation and dedication of a new fire truck and fireboat. U.S. Army V Corps strongly encourages its forward-deployed Soldiers, such as the NATO FLF Battle Group-Poland, to participate in and celebrate Polish historical and community events.
