Scott Barry, director of the CVN Readiness Operations Center, explains how the newly established center is improving the Navy’s ability to monitor aircraft carrier readiness. The ROC uses recurring, near-real-time fleet information in a centralized environment, allowing personnel to review and analyze carrier data, identify potential operational impacts and address maintenance concerns before they affect fleet readiness.
