U.S. Marines with the 2nd Marine Logistics Group, U.S. Navy Corpsmen with the 4th Marine Logistics Group, and members of the Swedish Home Guard 296 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Platoon and 2nd Naval Combat Service Support Battalion conduct combined CBRN and medical response training during Exercise Archipelago Endeavor 26 in Berga, Sweden, Sept. 2, 2026. Combined training between U.S. Marines and the Swedish Armed Forces was focused on CBRN defense, medical crisis response, and amphibious operations. Swedish forces conducted a simulated response to a hazardous environment before U.S. CBRN personnel conducted decontamination, and medical personnel provided care to injured personnel before moving them to a safe area for continued treatment. Archipelago Endeavor 26 strengthens bilateral interoperability, littoral defense capabilities, and tactical cooperation while demonstrating the readiness of U.S. and Swedish forces to operate together in the Baltic Sea region.
