Maneuver Battle Lab (MBL) Soldiers and developers operate a tethered unmanned aerial system (Te-UAS) Aug. 6, 2026, at McKenna Field Landing Site on Fort Benning, Ga. Designed and executed by the MBL in collaboration with the Air Robotics, Dismounted Requirements Branch, Requirements Division, Maneuver Future Capability Directorate (MFCD) and Product Lead Strategic Spectrum Warfare (PL SSW), the two-week assessment gathered the technical performance data and Soldier feedback necessary to help leaders evaluate the system's potential use by maneuver units. Note: Equipment labels have been blurred for operational security.
