A U.S. Air Force animation that commemorates the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, September 1, 2026. The animation honors the lives lost, the courage demonstrated in the aftermath of the attacks, and the service members who answered the nation’s call. In the hours and days following 9/11, Air Force Reserve Airmen rapidly responded in support of homeland defense and national security operations, demonstrating the readiness, experience and combat capability of the Reserve force. Twenty-five years later, the Air Force Reserve remains ready to deter aggression, defend the homeland and deliver combat-ready forces whenever and wherever the nation requires.
