V Corps welcomes Lt. Gen. Thomas M. Feltey as its new commanding general during an assumption of command ceremony presented by the U.S. Army Gen. Christopher C. LaNeve, acting Chief of Staff of the Army, at Fort Knox, Kentucky, Aug. 31, 2026. During the ceremony, Feltey was promoted from major general to lieutenant general before assuming command of V Corps. As commanding general, Feltey will lead the corps during Avenger Triad 26 and other key exercises across Eastern Europe in the coming months.
