U.S. Air Force Airmen conduct a tail-to-tail transfer between a U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk and a U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules, assigned to the 165th Airlift Wing, Georgia Air National Guard, at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, Aug. 26, 2026. Patriot 26, an Air National Guard-hosted exercise taking place at Volk Field Combat Readiness Training Center, brings together approximately 1,000 Airmen and Soldiers from National Guard units across 35 states, along with federal, state and local agencies, to enhance domestic response readiness and interagency coordination during large-scale emergencies.
