Maine Army National Guard Soldiers participate in the Adjutant General’s Marksmanship Competition, commonly known as the TAG Match, Aug. 21-23, 2026. Nine Soldiers representing five units competed in the two-day event following a practice and familiarization day Aug. 21. The competition provides an opportunity for Soldiers to test, refine and improve their marksmanship skills while learning from fellow competitors and instructors.
