Erick MOSQUEA-Polanco, a designated Facilitator Priority Organization Target (FPOT), is scheduled for extradition to the District of Puerto Rico on August 26, 2026, following his 2024 arrest by the U.S. Marshals Service embedded unit and Colombian authorities. MOSQUEA-Polanco was identified as a key facilitator and financier for the DE LA CRUZ-Morales transnational criminal organization, which was investigated by HSTF/BEST San Juan for maritime cocaine smuggling and laundering drug proceeds from the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and Colombia into Puerto Rico. In October 2016, MOSQUEA-Polanco, was federally indicted for conspiracies related to narcotics importation and money laundering.
