U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 353rd Civil Affairs Command, 418th Civil Affairs Battalion and 603rd Military Police Company engage with the local community during a celebration of Estonia’s Restoration of Independence Day in Tallinn, Estonia, August 20, 2026. The U.S. and other NATO forces strengthened their relationships with the communities they support through hands-on community engagement as locals celebrated Estonia’s independence. V Corps is the U.S. Army's only forward-deployed corps, serving as the senior tactical headquarters for Army forces in Eastern Europe to deter conflict and provide combat-ready forces alongside our NATO Allies. V Corps is operationalizing and expanding the Eastern Flank Deterrence Initiative with Allies, rapidly integrating emerging technologies into training and tactical plans. (U.S. Army video by Sgt. Katherine Zimpfer, 196th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment)

The news package includes an interview with Sgt. Ethan Wills, 53rd Civil Affairs Command, 418th Civil Affairs Battalion.
