U.S. Air Force aircraft arrive and fly for exercise Northern Viking 26 at Keflavík Air Base, Iceland, Aug. 21-22, 2026. NV26 strengthens the ability of U.S. and NATO Allied forces to operate together while maintaining readiness to respond to contingencies in the North Atlantic and High North. NV26 integrates U.S. forces and NATO Allies across air, land and maritime domains to strengthen readiness, interoperability and command and control in support of the collective defense of Iceland and the North Atlantic.
