Documentary filmmakers with Studio 51 visited Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, March 11-19, 2025, to highlight the Alaska Army National Guard's 207th Aviation Troop Command as its Soldiers and aircrews operated across the 49th state's rugged terrain and dynamic weather.
The footage captured during the production is featured in Arctic Extreme: Aviation on the Edge and offers audiences a rare perspective of the Soldiers, aircraft and missions that support communities across Alaska.
The production included filming aboard and around Alaska Army National Guard aircraft, including the UH-60L Black Hawk, HH-60M MEDEVAC Black Hawk, CH-47F Chinook and C-12 Huron.
