Tentara Nasional Indonesia–Angkatan Darat (TNI-AD) and U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers assigned to the 100th Battalion, 442nd Infantry Regiment, conduct 81mm mortar familiarization, emplacement and live-fire training during Exercise Ksatria Warrior 2026 (KW26) at Baturaja Combat Training Center, Indonesia, Aug. 23, 2026. Training included crew procedures, ammunition handling, mortar emplacement, fire direction and live-fire operations designed to improve interoperability and strengthen indirect fire capabilities between partner forces. KW26 is the second iteration of the bilateral Army-to-Army military exercise between U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) and TNI-AD forces. Operation is focused on building long-lasting partnerships, expanding bilateral interoperability, and increasing unit readiness.
