Welcome to one of the Army’s most unique overseas assignments. Soldiers and families assigned to the 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command have the opportunity to serve in Daegu, Republic of Korea, while experiencing the communities, culture and destinations throughout the country.
Filmed during three years in Korea, this video highlights Daegu and destinations including Busan, Geoje, Jeju and Mokpo, offering a glimpse of what an assignment here can provide beyond the installation. Living in Daegu gives Soldiers and families opportunities to explore Korea, experience the host nation and build memories alongside an Army community serving one of the United States' most important overseas missions.
For those who receive the opportunity to serve with Team 19, Korea offers a duty assignment that can become an important part of both an Army career and a family's experience overseas.
