Observer, Coach/Trainers (OC/T) from across the Army compete in a physical training event during the Best OC/T Competition at Ft. Bliss, Texas, Aug. 22, 2026. During the event, competitors conducted a circuit consisting of 12 main stations including the assault bike, partner fireman carries, and half-mile runs. The Gen. John J. Pershing Cup is the Army’s annual premier Best OC/T competition, a rigorous four‑day event held at Fort Bliss, Texas, Aug. 22–24, 2026. Through this competition, OC/Ts demonstrate the excellence, adaptability, and relentless pursuit of mastery that underpin the Army’s ability to fight, win, and project power on and from the land.
