New York and South Dakota National Guard members prepare aircraft and equipment and engage with Swedish counterparts in Linköping, Sweden, Aug. 20-21, 2026, ahead of the Swedish Air Force’s centennial Jubilee Air Show. The New York National Guard and Sweden have conducted nearly 160 engagements since becoming partners through the Department of War National Guard State Partnership Program in 2024. The Jubilee Air Show Aug. 22-23 at Malmen Air Base will bring Guard members together with Swedish forces, NATO allies and international partners to commemorate 100 years of Swedish air power.
