Members of Tentara Nasional Indonesia–Angkatan Darat (TNI-AD) participate in an 81mm mortar familiarization and rapid emplacement training event led by U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers assigned to the 100th Battalion, 442nd Infantry Regiment, during Exercise Ksatria Warrior 2026 (KW26) at Baturaja Combat Training Center, Indonesia, Aug. 18, 2026. The training focused on mortar system capabilities, crew procedures, equipment familiarization and rapid deployment techniques designed to enhance interoperability between partner forces. KW26 is the second iteration of the bilateral Army-to-Army military exercise between U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) and TNI-AD forces. Operation is focused on building long-lasting partnerships, expanding bilateral interoperability, and increasing unit readiness.
