U.S. Army Reserve soldier from multiple units attended the 86th Training Division's WAREX 86-26 to receive rigorous, challenging, and demanding training that replicates multi-domain environments and large-scale combat operations.
The Dismounted Instructional Lane during WAREX provides realistic training environment challenged Soldiers to maneuver, communicate, and react to enemy threats while maintaining security throughout the mission at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin.
The lane included evaluating casualties, providing lifesaving aid, and preparing patients for medical evacuation while operating in a tactical environment. Soldiers trained to identify, report, and defend against unmanned aerial threats as part of preparing for modern battlefield operations during the lane. The Dismounted Instructional Lane ended with a simulated chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) scenario.
