Approximately 40 U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers of myriad units throughout the Pinellas Park, Fla., based Army Reserve Medical Command organizational umbrella and various company-level entities under the Seagoville, Texas-based 176th Medical Brigade — the latter a subordinate unit within the Salt Lake City-based 807th Theater Medical Command — provided augmentation to joint medical operations during the annual Medical Readiness Skills Sustainment Program for the Military, or MRSSP-MIL, at Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center in Fort Belvoir, Va., and the DiLorenzo Pentagon Health Clinic at the Pentagon in Arlington County, Va., Aug. 2-29, 2026.
The MRSSP-MIL exemplifies the continuity of interoperability between U.S. Army Reserve medical Soldiers, active-duty personnel and local Defense Health Agency facilities in the nucleus of the National Capital Region — whilst providing a real-world training platform to AR-MEDCOM and 807th TMC Soldiers in their respectively annual training periods.
