Volunteers and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers staff remove debris from the shoreline of Raystown Lake during the annual Lake Cleanup Day, May 2, 2026, at Tatman Run Recreation Area, Hesston, Pa. Aerial and ground footage captures volunteer-owned pontoon boats ferrying crews along the lake's 118 miles of shoreline, volunteers collecting and offloading debris, and the sweeping landscape of Pennsylvania's largest manmade lake. More than 70 volunteers partnered with the Friends of Raystown Lake and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, to remove roughly one ton of trash from the shoreline in a single morning.
