DUBLIN, Calif. — The 63d Readiness Division, with support from subject-matter experts across the U.S. Army Reserve, concludes the second week of Operation Holistic Warrior at Parks Reserve Forces Training Area in Dublin, Calif.
During a hands-on cooking class, Capt. Anthony P. Paradis, a 65C performance dietitian with the 8th Medical Brigade, teaches Soldiers how to prepare nutritious meals and make informed dietary choices. The instruction provides practical skills Soldiers can use at home and share with members of their units.
Operation Holistic Warrior applies the Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness framework to strengthen readiness across five domains: physical, nutritional, mental, spiritual and sleep readiness. The training helps Army Reserve Soldiers build sustainable habits, improve performance and enhance individual and unit readiness.
