FRCSE recently said farewell to the final T‑44 Pegasus, the Navy’s long-serving multi‑engine trainer. With work on this aircraft beginning at FRCSE in 2010, completing the final T‑44 marks the end of an era at the depot. The Navy will replace the T‑44 with the T‑54A Multi‑Engine Training System, based on the Beechcraft King Air 260, featuring modern avionics to train the next generation of naval aviators.
