The U.S. Army Command and General Staff College hosted its annual International Flag Day ceremony on Aug. 17, 2026, at the Lewis and Clark Center on Fort Leavenworth.
The International Flag Day ceremony is the traditional beginning of the Command and General Staff School’s premier course, the Command and General Staff Officer Course.
During, one international military student representing each partner and ally nation of the academic year's class marches on stage to place their national flags. The ceremony signifies the global alliance and academic collaboration of this year’s CGSOC class.
