    103rd Public Affairs Detachment

Man and machine combine at the Fort Harrison M4 zero range this weekend as Detachment 1 of the 230th Engineer Company rebuilds shooting platforms to better prepare Montana Soldiers. One of the most basic soldier tasks is to zero and qualify on your assigned weapon system, and our engineers are ensuring that we have the proper platform to do that from.

The engineers are always excited when they get to use the big machinery, but they're most excited when they get tasked by the state to improve conditions for the Montana National Guard soldiers. Knowing that every soldier training for years to come will use the 230th's hard work to improve individual skills is a heavy responsibility that our engineers take pride in.
