#TacticalTuesday The PR shop at FRCSE Detachment Jacksonville keeps aircrew life-support equipment ready for the mission.
The team maintains 21 types of aviation life support systems (ALSS) equipment — including life rafts, life preservers, anti-exposure garments, oxygen regulators and self-contained breathing apparatus — supporting 18 tenant commands and four aircraft platforms: C-130, P-8 Poseidon, H-60 Seahawk and F/A-18 Super Hornet.
Every piece is inspected, repaired, tested and restored before heading back to the Fleet.
Without the meticulous work performed in the PR shop, FRCSE aviators wouldn’t have the equipment needed to safely take to the sky.
