Command Sgt. Maj. James Riddle, U.S. Army Garrison-Fort McCoy command sergeant major, discusses how he supports the Wisconsin Challenge Academy on May 8, 2026, by completing mock job interviews with academy cadets at Fort McCoy, Wis. The effort helps prepare cadets for entry to the workforce later on. Riddle was among several members of the Fort McCoy community who supported the effort for Challenge Academy Class 56. The Challenge Academy, a Fort McCoy tenant organization, offers youth the opportunity to change the direction of their lives and develop the strength of character and life skills necessary to become successful, responsible citizens.
