The 165th Airlift Wing hosted a change-of-command ceremony, presided by U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Konota Crumbly, commander, Georgia Air National Guard, where Col. Sheldon B. Wilson, outgoing commander, 165th Airlift Wing, relinquished command to Col. Ronald M. Alligood, incoming commander, at the Savannah Air National Guard Base, Georgia, Aug. 1, 2026.
