At Life Cycle Industry Days (LCID), attendees get to interact with Air Force senior leaders and industry executives during immersive panel experiences. LCID is presented annually by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC). On Tuesday, July 28, 2026, Col. Paul Tinker moderated a panel called "Maximize Acquisition Flexibility." Tinker is the deputy director of AFLCMC’s Mobility Directorate. Panel members included: Brig. Gen. Robert Lyons III, AFLCMC Weapons Portfolio Acquisition Executive, Col. Timothy Helfrich, AFLCMC Fighters & Advanced Aircraft Portfolio Acquisition Executive, T.K. Kubit of Sierra Nevada Corp., and Tim O'Brien of Palantir.

Co-hosted by Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) and Dayton Defense Life LCID and Air Force Research Lab’s (AFRL) Wright Dialogue with Industry (WDI) took place July 27 – 31, 2026, at the Dayton Convention Center in Dayton, Ohio. Though standalone events, LCID and WDI are aligned to gain efficiencies in sharing information, collaboration, and discussion. LCID focuses on the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's future requirements, collaboration opportunities, and topics covering the entire acquisition life cycle and management across AFLCMC portfolios.
