    With Soldier input, the ARL Catalyst Pathfinder program developed the Kraken Actuator Protection System, or KAPS, a low-cost sensor and actuator system, that enables a Soldier in the cab of a Common Bridge Transporter to launch rafts and bays into a waterway.
