August is Antiterrorism Awareness Month, and Naval District Washington's (NDW) Acting Antiterrorism Officer, Emmett Roberson, highlights a critical point: installation safety does not solely rely on law enforcement. Force protection is at its most effective when Navy families and civilians living and working on base actively participate in our collective defense. Vigilance is our strongest tool.
