B-roll footage captures Airmen executing Operation EDGECRUSHER, a Combat Readiness Inspection for the 114th Fighter Wing, at Volk Field Air National Guard Base in Camp Douglas, Wisconsin, Aug. 5, 2026. Conducted Aug. 3-9, the inspection evaluated the South Dakota Air National Guard wing’s ability to transition from peacetime operations to a wartime footing while generating, employing and sustaining combat airpower between a simulated main operating base at Joe Foss Field and a simulated forward operating base at Volk Field under contested and degraded conditions.
