Firefighters with the Miramar Fire Department and environmental health specialists with the County of San Diego Department of Environmental Health and Quality conduct a simulated technical decontamination exercise at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California, July 30, 2026. The technical decontamination process is a procedure which removes hazardous materials from personal protective equipment.
