Pennsylvania Air National Guard Airmen assigned to the 201st Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineer complete construction projects at Redwood National and State Parks near Orick, California, July 5-18, 2026, during an Innovative Readiness Training mission. The Department of War program provided Airmen with real-world expeditionary engineering experience while supporting National Park Service projects, including facility repairs, drainage improvements, volunteer housing renovations and the conversion of a former fish hatchery into a community education center.
