U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers assigned to the 1st Mission Support Command participate in the Caribbean Readiness Group change of command ceremony at Isla de Cabras in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, July 18, 2026. During the ceremony, Col. Richard Tuggle relinquishes command of the Caribbean Readiness Group to Col. Mark Citarella and receives the Meritorious Service Medal from Brig. Gen. Christopher Creaghe, commanding general of the 1st Mission Support Command. The Caribbean Readiness Group provides mission command and control, as well as administrative, logistical, operational and tactical support to assigned and supported units.
