Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force members hold a ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Air Rescue Squadron (ARS) 71, and to award Koike Maika, with Iwakuni District JMSDF Supporter’s Association, a letter of appreciation for creating the squadron’s 50th anniversary logo at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, July 17, 2026. ARS-71 held the ceremony to celebrate their 50th anniversary and to recognize the achievements of the squadron.
