U.S. Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 268 (Reinforced), Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 26, participate in the Mindil Beach flying display as part of Exercise Pitch Black 26 at Mindil Beach in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia, July 23, 2026. Exercise Pitch Black 26 brings together 21 nations and up to 100 aircraft for air combat training. MRF-D is an annual six-month rotational deployment to enhance interoperability with the Australian Defence Force and allies and partners and provide a forward-postured crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific.
