U.S. and Peruvian maritime leaders participate in tri-service maritime staff talks in San Francisco, July 13-17, 2026. Representatives from U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command, U.S. Marine Corps Forces South, the U.S. Coast Guard and the Peruvian Navy met to align strategic priorities, improve maritime domain awareness, strengthen interoperability and coordinate future cooperation to address shared maritime security challenges.
