Wolfhound Week is an annual commemorative and competitive event hosted by the 1st and 2nd Battalions, 27th Infantry Regiment, to build camaraderie and educate Soldiers about the regiment’s storied history. Since 1957, the 27th Infantry Regiment “Wolfhounds” have annually hosted children traveling from Holy Family Home in Osaka, Japan, to Hawaii as part of a longstanding cultural exchange and community partnership.
